In our lives, health is the most precious thing we have. Good health is a desire of everyone. But there are many pepole ailing throughout the year, especially the elderly, who haven’t got a strong body defences against sickness. Most of the wealthier families bring their elderly relatives to regular medical check-ups and treatments. How should the elderly consult a doctor when they haven’t got enough money?

The question concerned Pink Lotus Travel since a long time and then volunteers and donors decided to implement a charity trip that offered free examinations and medical treatmeant for the poor people in Tra Vinh province .

 

 

 

 

We know that Pink Lotus only has a small impact and we cannot help everyone. All activities within the charity programe are just like a drop in the sea, however we try to help the poor elderly with all our power and try to awaken human kindness, that was asleeep for too long. One tree can’t create a forrest but three trees can and even a big one.

Follow us to visit poverty-stricken families at Tra Vinh province through this charitable trip and I assure you that you will have the same concerns as us!

 

 

 

 

There were many elderly people who were eager go get examinatins and medical treatments. They queued in line, not paying any attention to the blazing sun, because this was the chance to receive a free medical examination and free medicine.

 

 

 

Every person expressed their happiness when receiving free examinating and medical treatment in many different ways. They were looking at us and gave us emotional smiles or they even cried to show deep gratitude. There were some people, who grabbed my hand and told me that almost all elderly are always sick. They want to die because of poverty, as they don’t want to get their descendants involved and ask for money. They usually cannot sleep because of muscle spasm and they burst out crying like a baby. This action makes us feel very anguish.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

There are illnesses, which can’t be cured easily. Our free examination and medical treatment program only cures common sicknesses such as headaches, stomachaches, back pains, muscle aches or fever. But at least the elderly feel a relief; they can sleep better and are more optimistic. Long may they live to enjoy happiness with their offspring!
