Tour itinerary

Day 1: Sai Gon- Ben Tre- Can Tho (L) 7:45 picking up at your hotel. Take a rural route (not the Highway 1!!) to Can Duoc market (40km) – a stunning rural market. Some stops en route to see farmers working on paddy fields. Take a boat ride along the Tiền River to An Khánh (Bến Tre land).View the stilt houses and the fruit plantation along the river bank. Visit the fishing village, floating fish farm and market on islets: Dragon, Unicorn, Tortoise, Phoenix Islands.

Take row-boat winding along narrow water palm creek. Then take the bicycle (12km) or horse cart through coconut garden, experience local people’s daily activities along the village paths. On the way, stop to visit the local people house to see how they pack banana and coconut-leaves cakes, enjoy seasonal fruits, a local coconut candy workshop; taste candy (local special product).

Walk on Monkey Bridge to see the local people making rice paper cake, rice wine. Walk under coconut shade to the boat station, get on the boat go to branch of Nam Bộ near Rạch Miễu bridge. Have lunch with local cuisine and then move to Can Tho.

17:00 Arrive in Can Tho, check in hotel and have free time.

Day 2: Can Tho- Sai Gon (B-L)

06:30 Take a boat trip (4 hours) to see Cai Rang/Phong Dien floating market in the Western of Vietnam. On the way you’ll visit a rice noodle factory and learn how to make rice noodle. Then take a slow boat trip along the small beautiful canals.

12:00Lunch in Can Tho or Vinh Long.

13:00: Car back to Saigon or local express bus to Rach Gia/ Chau Doc (Extra cost).
