Day 1: Arrival HCMC

 

 

Warmly welcome on arrival HCMC airport. Transfer to hote. At leisure. Afternoon private city tour of Ho Chi Minh City, formerly known as Saigon . It is the largest and busiest city in Vietnam with a population of 7 million people. Much of the daily life takes place on the streets, which are lined with shops, stalls and vendors with their wares spread out on the footpath. Don't miss the bustling Ben Thanh Market, The War Remnants Museum, The Reunification Palace. Overnight in HCMC.

 

 

Day 2: Mekong Delta Excursion (B/L)

 

Leave HCMC to lush My Tho where you will board a private boat to go through the green vegetation of the canals to an orchard. Some stops en route to see farmers working on paddy fields. View the stilt houses and the fruit plantation along the river bank. Visit the fishing village, floating fish farm and market on islets: Dragon, Unicorn, Tortoise, Phoenix Islands.

Take row-boat winding along narrow water palm creek. Then take the bicycle (12km) or horse cart through coconut garden, experience local people’s daily activities along the village paths. On the way, stop to visit the local people house to see how they pack banana and coconut-leaves cakes, enjoy seasonal fruits, a local coconut candy workshop; taste candy (local special product).

Walk on Monkey Bridge to see the local people making rice paper cake, rice wine. Have lunch with local cuisine and then move to Can Tho. Overnight in Can Tho.

 

Day 3: Floating Market - HCMC (B/L)

 

 

Take a boat trip (4 hours) to see Cai Rang/Phong Dien floating market in the Western of Vietnam. On the way you’ll visit a rice noodle factory and learn how to make rice noodle. Then take a slow boat trip along the small beautiful canals. Overnight in HCMC.

 

Day 4: Trekking Bạch Mã (L,D)

Transfer to airport for flight to Hue on Vietnam Airlines. Upon arrival at Hue you will be greeted by our guide who will begin by escorting you to Bach Ma National Park. After an impressing drive to Bach Ma Travel Center we embark on a short trek to mountain peak for the spectacular view of the national park. We then descend and follow jungle trails to reach Five Lakes where natural pools created by the stream. If weather permits we can swim in the pools. Lunch at Five Lakes.  After lunch we continue trekking to Do Quyen Waterfall, a beautiful waterfall, 300m high and 20-30m wide. After here we trek to our camp site where we will have dinner and stay overnight in tents. (Trekking: 8 km)

 

Day 5: Bạch Mã –  Quảng Bình

Waken up with fresh air and bird songs. You would enjoy the beautiful sunrise while sipping tea or take a short guided trek to explore nature trails on which you may see lots of birds, and butterflies. Leave the national park at 10am we drive to Quang Binh. En route to the tunnels at Vinh Moc, we'll stop at Quang Tri. From here, we'll proceed to Vinh Moc and the amazing 2.8 km of tunnels. Unlike their counterparts in Cu Chi in Southern Vietnam, the Vinh Moc tunnels remain unaltered and therefore offer an authentic view of underground life. We enter the tunnels and explore the subterranean passageways. Later we retire to the town of Dong Hoi for the night. Overnight beach resort.

 

Day 6: Paradise Cave – Phong Nha Ke Bang Natural World Heritage Site

After breakfast, our car and tour guide will pick up guests at Dong Hoi to Thien Duong Cave. Golf car will take you to the cave (located in the park's core zone).

Thien Duong (Paradise) Cave, discovered and named by scientists of the British Cave Research Association in 2005, has the length of 31km, said a British scientist on May 23. British scientists lauded Thien Duong as "the largest and most beautiful cave in the Phong Nha-Ke Bang area".  With naturally primitive features Thien Duong Cave looks like a landscape painting. According to spelunkers, the deeper one journeys into the cave, the more one feels the wells of heavenly clarity all around. There are a series of white crystal stalactites resembling glass pillars and many other spectacular formations.

 

 

 

At noon, go to Nuoc Mooc Spring Eco-trail. This place gathers a rich and diverse natural heritage with rivers, lakes, streams, waterfalls, mountains and caves. Visitors can admire the birds, numerous butterflies, dragonflies and the rich flora (including famous orchids) in addition to learning about the park and the local biodiversity.The most attraction of this trail is the Nuoc Mooc Spring including many small streams which are formed from the lower water column came out from the mountains. They mix with each other as connected networks, windingly flow and finally down on Chay River. You can be refreshed at a pleasant swimming area where the Chay River and the Nuoc Mooc Spring meet. Then we return to Dong Hoi for dinner. Overnight beach resort.

 

 

Day 7 – 31 Dec: Ha Noi haft day tour (B)

 

 

In the morning relax on the beach after trekking days. At noon, transfer to airport for flight to Hanoi. Check in your hotel. Then you enjoy a short cyclo excursion through the bustling old quarter streets named after the specific goods once offered for sale! Stop at Thang long theatre for Water puppet show (special treat for your kids). After the show finish, enjoy a delicious dinner at Grill Fish Restaurant (Cha ca Hanoi).

Day 8 – 01 Dec: Ha Long Natural World Heritage on Calypso Cruise (B/L/D)

 

Private car pick up from your hotel and drive to Ha Long City at 8:30 AM for 3 ½ hour drive to Halong. Arrive in Halong board Calypso Cruiser. Lunch is served with a welcome drink while the boat is cruising the bay to enjoy the beautiful limestone seascape with Fighting cock, Dog Rock and Incense Burner . After visiting Amazing Cave we stop at a floating house and go kayaking to Luon cave to enjoy the quiet atmosphere of the bay. Fresh fruit platter will be served followed by a dinner. Overnight on board. (Kayaking: 1,5hrs)

 

Day 9: Ha Long - Ha Noi (B,L,D)

 

Sunrise breakfast and cruise around the clear & emerald water to another part of Halong bay with a close up view of stunning limestone peaks. such as Drum cave , Man's head Islet….Heading to Van Gia fishing village, you will have the opportunity to understand more about the fishermen's daily life. Having lunch on board with a variety of local foods, enjoying the rest of the boat trip before back to Halong dock. Have a short break before en route to Hanoi. Enjoy Vietnamese buffet for Dinner.

19h30: Our guide pick up you from the restaurant to go to rail way station B, catch the night train for Lao Cai. You will have a good sleep with the solf sleeper berth.

 

Day 10: Sapa - Cat Cat village ( B, L, D)

 

06h00: pick up from Lao Cai train station, get on the bus to continue to Sapa. After breakfast, you are free to discover Sapa town or walk up the Ham Rong – Orchird garden to greet the sun. Chat with minority children in market.

 

At noon, check in hotel, have lunch.

Then our guide will take you to Cat Cat village, visit the French existing hidro - electric power station beside the Cat Cat waterfall. Study the way H’Mong villagers make their own hamp clothes, grow rice and corn. Enjoy the dancing show of the local minority people. Go back to Sapa on foot. Have dinner then you are free to walk around Sapa town in the evening.

 

 

 

Day 11: Sapa - Y Linh Ho - Lao Chai - Ta Van ( B, L, D)

After breakfast, we start with 6 km walking down to the South East of Sapa alongside Muong Hoa valley to Y Linh Ho village, trek 2 km down to Lao Chai village, take picture of paddle field and visit minority house and school. Have picnic lunch in the Black H’Mong house, discover their daily life style and enjoy landscape. The journey is continued by trekking to Tavan village of Dzay minority people then back to Sapa by mini bus. You will arrive Sapa at 15h30. Have shower at hotel. Then take the bus to Lao Cai. Have dinner at restaurant. Night train back to Hanoi.

 

Day 12: Sapa – Hanoi

05h00 You will be in Hanoi B station. Tour ends. Transfer to airport for your flight if you are flying out of Ha Noi
